Medical/Cosmetic Tattoos: Email Mikayla@ReflectionRoomTattoo.com with subject line “MEDICAL” or “COSMETIC.” Medical tattooing is my highest priority; requests are accepted year-round.
 

When Books Are OPEN: You’ll receive a response within 2 weeks if your project is accepted.
 

When Books Are CLOSED: No response will be sent; requests are added to the cancellation list. A new request must be submitted once books reopen.

Currently 8–10 months, depending on weekday vs. weekend.  Scheduling has only been opened once in 2025 for 2026 to try to get down to under 6 months.

No previews. Most designs are drawn directly on the day of your appointment for best flow and customization. Large-scale non-drawn on exceptions are reviewed at the appointment. Trust the process, small day-of tweaks can usually be accommodated.

• 10+ minutes late = canceled appointment. 
• Reschedules require 48+ hours’ notice to scheduling@reflectionroomtattoo.com (max 2 reschedules without new booking fee). 
• True emergencies are considered, but failure to follow policy = forfeited deposit. 
• If Mikayla must reschedule within 48 hours, rebooking will occur within ~30 days and credit $50 to the clients account.

Mikayla's policies supersede Reflection Room Tattoo Co. general policies.  

Cost varies based on EU or US. Please be precise in description on booking form and indicate you would like a price quote if needed. You can book a virtual consultation if discussion is needed. If your project is accepted, this means it IS achievable within the budget specified.  

Preference is given to Half-day Sessions (around 3 hours) and Full-day Sessions (around 6 hours). If smaller, tattoos are priced by the piece. Mikayla's minimum is $200. 

Medical tattoos are done at no-cost.

Your booking fee is specifically tied to the design submitted at appointment booking. Major changes = likely a dropped project, and certainly a forfeited booking fee. Small changes can usually be accommodated. 

A valid physical government-issued Photo ID  (State ID, License, Military ID, Passport, Passport Card) is mandatory. No digital IDs. No ID = booking fee forfeited. Valid = NOT EXPIRED, even by 24 hrs.

Active or healing bruises, rashes, burns, scrapes, cuts, sunburns, acne, other fresh tattoos, etc. are NOT able to be tattooed over. Skin must be healthy and intact. Fake tanner within 2 weeks = refusal. Failure to follow will result in loss of booking fee. Notify immediately if something occurs in service area that may impact appointment.

Some conditions require a Physician Acknowledgment Form (email scheduling@reflectionroomtattoo.com).
*No tattooing on Accutane (must be off 1+ year) , Spironolactone, or other select medications, during pregnancy/nursing, or if vaccinated or boosted for Covid-19 within 14 days of appointment.
*Ask in advance about conditions, scarring, medications, procedures, or any time you are unsure. Diabetic clients need this. Failure to disclose or do due diligence in asking = loss of booking fee. If you are unsure ask.  Forms are good for 3 years unless a change in health status has occured. 

If applied before your appointment, you will be turned away and your booking fee forfeited. In-studio use is subject to local law; mitigation is available for Ohio clients. If you have extreme sensitivities, consult your physician about prescription options and keep us informed.

Arrive with valid ID, paperwork, and (if needed) medical release. Eat within 2 hours before and bring snacks, water, or entertainment for comfort (though we also do have these things). No guests without prior approval.

• Do not come in sick, symptomatic, or awaiting test results. Email immediately.  
• No tattooing within 14 days before or after a COVID vaccine/booster.
• Failure to comply = deposit loss + no future booking.

Non-refundable and required to secure an appointment. For multi-session appointments, booking fee will roll until last appointment. Booking fees are applied to appointments, unless forfeited by not following policies. 

USA Booking fee: $150  for Half-day and $300 for Full-day. Payments accepted are cash or payment through square (communications will come through Reflection Room). 

EU Booking fee: €50 for Half-day, and €150 for Full-day. You may pay via bank transfer, iDEAL, Instant Bank Transfer, Debit Card or Credit Card thorugh Bunq. All communications will come directly through Mikayla@ReflectionRoomTattoo.com, be aware of scammers.
